Discover and explore the Burren with Anna.
Why not get out in the fresh air of the Burren, as you walk this mystical landscape that is our home, and here for you to discover!
Under the tour guidance of Anna, a secondary school teacher of Geography and Gaeilge, you will experience and learn first hand, how seven generations have survived in this unique landscape.
Anna talks about the farming practices and changing land uses here and how the geology and drainage influenced their relationship with land and stone. The ancient settlements, the logainmneacha, the Bealoideas and Folklore, as well as the Flowers and Wildlife – all are part of your guided walk here.
Situated in the heart of the Burren makes it an ideal location for Nature Talks, Mindfulness/WellnessWalks, Leaving Certificate Geography Field Studies for 2021,
Day trips for Transition year students, Mountain walks, Biodiversity for Greenschools, and short nature walks for Primary School children.
